Due to the recent rise in appreciation for the art of bread making, many vocational and technical schools now offer a variety of classes to teach students traditional and artisan bread making techniques. Students are learning how easy it is to bake bread often and in a variety of ways, promoting better nutrition and increasing knowledge and appreciation of history, customs, seasonal holidays and practices of people in other lands and cultures.
To assist Educators in the classroom setting, Red Star Yeast is pleased to provide a collection of "Baking Lessons". Each lesson offers simple, practical methods to help students master the basic techniques involved in making yeast breads.
