Vintage Stuffed Chops

A delicious variation for pork chops - a fruit and bread stuffing bakes atop.

Ingredients
Pork chops, 3/4- to 1-inch thick4
Soft bread crumbs3 cups
Chopped onion2 TBSP
Salt1/4 tsp
Poultry seasoning1/4 tsp
Vintage Fruit, drained1/2 cup
Butter or margarine, melted1/4 cup
Vintage Fruit syrup2 TBSP
Directions

In fry pan, brown pork chops in small amount of shortening; place in shallow baking dish. In medium bowl combine bread crumbs, onion, salt and poultry seasoning; mix lightly. Add drained Vintage Fruit, butter and Vintage Fruit syrup; mix lightly until thoroughly combined. Spoon onto each pork chop. Cover; bake at 325°F until tender, about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
